Gives the ceiling a texture and a shadow line without opening it. Nothing shows through to the plenum and nothing passes the other way. The pattern itself contributes no absorption, so an acoustic requirement has to be met by the panel and its backing rather than by the face. Where embossed relief patterns suit.

Name it by its number. These patterns have no names in the catalog, and the number is the only identifier that will match what we hold. Give the panel size and, where the pattern offers more than one, the hole diameter you want it run at.

Special perforation is a patterned face, not a performance specification. Where the acoustic figure is what matters, work from the uniform range, which publishes an open-area percentage for every pattern.
