Between the suspension and the panel
Carriers & Runners
The sections the panels attach to. Which one a ceiling takes is decided by the panel type, not by the span.
What this group does
Carriers are what makes a ceiling system a system. A clip-in panel snaps onto a sprung tee runner, a lay-in panel drops into an exposed grid, a hook on panel is fastened to paired Z sections, and an open cell ceiling is nothing but carriers. Because the carrier is chosen by the panel, it is not a part you substitute: the profile and the panel edge are designed against each other.
